Position Overview:

Manages approved Human Resources-related projects with varying levels of complexity from conception through completion to include scope, time, and cost. Creates project plans, makes project assignments, identifies resource needs, tracks progress and status, and escalates issues. Provides leadership to project team, updating project sponsor and stakeholders on project status and ensuring projects are delivered on time.

EDUCATION:

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Bachelor's: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

  • DL-Valid Driver's License Class C


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years recent relevant experience.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of general Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), project management methodologies and/or Sutter Health’s project methodology and project management methodology.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) service delivery methods and operations, and HR governance structures and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage complex projects (e.g., number of resources, functional areas, time requirements, and the organizational experience of the subject).
  • Understands the strategic and business needs of the system.
  • Organization and planning skills to effectively delegate, manage and/or re-prioritize multiple activities and projects to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.
  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and analyze trends/issues, and draw valid conclusion to make sound recommendations.
  • Collaborative working style to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various project participants and/or stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues to manage/minimize risks.
  • Ability to influence others by persuasion and build consensus with stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills with a keen attention to details.
  • Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to present information to a variety of audiences.
  • Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
  • Ability to establish credibility, and to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of role’s duties

Pay Range is $48.72 to $73.08 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
