Plans and implements Occupational Therapy programs for patients and participates in department programs by performing the following duties.Job Description:
EDUCATION
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's: Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association with a B.S. or B.A. or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Experience with physical rehabilitation, either through educational affiliations or prior work association is preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Language skills – ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, customers and the general public.
- Mathematical skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning – ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.).
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Pay Range is $50.28 to $67.55 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
