SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:
Performs various financial related analysis, reporting and validation of Real Estate Lease obligations, as well as financial reporting for Real Estate Owned Assets. Interfaces with leadership, including department managers, directors and administrative teams as well as liaise with various accounting departments within Sutter Health. Works independently with Lease Administration leadership and department, in the administration of all financial reporting aspects for Sutter Health's real estate portfolio. Completes Common Area Maintenance (CAM) Reconciliations for owned assets, audits CAM Reconciliations from 3rd Party Landlords and make interpretations as to the accuracy and compliance of such billings in accordance with the Lease contract.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's: Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the new Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) requirements for balance sheet treatment of lease obligations is critical in order to produce accurate calculations and journal entries for proper recording of Right of Use (ROU) Asset, Lease Liability and Deferred Rent expense.
- Ability to read and understand financial reports and budgets
- Ability to test reasonableness of proposed assumptions and the financial forecast
- Knowledgeable in writing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Knowledgeable in accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entry posting, real estate accounting, CAM/Operating Expense Reconciliation.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point) with Expert level of experience in Excel and Access.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and maintain clearly organized supporting documentation.
- Organization and time management skills
- Verbal and written communication skills. communicates effectively with internal staff and external vendors including multiple levels of leadership & key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a broad understanding of financial and business office technologies.

Pay Range is $36.59 to $54.89 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
