Provides assistance in the form of advice and counsel to physicians, staff, and management regarding: interpretation and application of personnel policies; compliance with applicable local, State and Federal law; employment practices; benefits; performance management; complaint processing; and employment decisions. Focuses on physician network planning, coordination of physician engagement survey, and other physician support activities.Job Description:

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Critical and Analytical Thinking:
• Identifies and analyzes pertinent data.
• Effectively facilitates discussion and resolution of personnel issues between management and staff according to policy/practice.
• Amends/enhances existing policies and develops new policies according to established guidelines.
• Works with Chief Medical Officer and senior leadership to develop and maintain physician strategy that integrates physicians across facility.
• Provides business and strategic planning support to Chief Medical Executive as it relates to physician engagement and wellness.
Technical Skills:
• Supports review of physician contracts and administers physician benefits program and responds to inquiries concerning benefits.
• Reviews personnel action notices for accuracy, appropriateness & completeness and resolve issues with managers and employees.
• Participates in internal as well as external committees related to employment practices.
Communication (Verbal and Written):
• Assists in the development of formal and informal employee and management training sessions.
• Coordinates physician orientation.
Quality:
• Audits and recommends improvement opportunities for management to ensure compliance with regulatory HR standards.
• Participates in medical group, Sutter, and regulatory audits; provides counsel to client groups on department specific requirements.
• Attends general management meetings to keep up to date on organizational events and strategies; participates in other meetings.
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Communications, Human Resources, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Basic knowledge of human resource principles, policies and procedures.
Able to deal discreetly with confidential information, including physician salary ranges.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have proven ability in problem-solving, analysis and independent judgment.
Professional demeanor and comfortable working with high level group administrators.
Written and verbal communications and customer service skills.
Committed to providing exceptional customer service and responding to user needs in a prompt, courteous manner.

Pay Range is $35.08 to $50.87 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
