Conducts and supports data analysis and the data management in the areas of clinical research, quality improvement, health care financing, medical informatics, and/or quality improvement. Participates in the design and dissemination of the research studies in which they are involved. Collaborates regularly with appropriate resources (internal and external) to problem solve, investigate and identify alternative solutions, and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.Job Description:
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Master's: Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Psychology or related field or equivalent education/experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Skilled in statistical analysis software (e.g., STATA: R; SAS).
Demonstrated skill programming that involves multiple types of analysis (e.g. multivariate linear and logistic regressions) using SAS and at least one other statistical software package
Finely-honed analytical skills acquired through direct analytical involvement in a wide of research projects with a focus in health economics or health policy.
Familiarity with common biostatistical techniques used in biomedical and epidemiological research and the monitoring of quality control.
Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills; superior fluency in oral and written English.
Ability to manage with high degree of flexibility while focusing on projects’ goals and within projects timetables.
Pay Range: 45.80-68.70
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
