Position Overview:

The Delivery Consultant serves as a leader of the design, development and delivery of learning programs and solutions that will develop exceptional leaders that transform the future of healthcare.  Develops processes, tools, and relationships designed to build individual and organizational capabilities for clinicians, managers and employees.  Includes assessment, design, development, deployment and measurement of services and solutions, such as training, coaching and consulting.  Collaborates with colleagues in affiliates, regions, system roles, external consulting firms, and Sutter Health University to ensure quality, cost-effective services and solutions that align with key business strategies and goals.

Partners with other HR Team Members to help deliver professional learning and organization development programs and services on behalf of Sutter Health and to help build a high-performing HR Service Delivery Team. Supports creating and building a Learning Delivery Team that is focused on delivering results by providing effective coaching, by seeking and responding to regular performance feedback and helping in orientation and appropriate training of new team members.



Qualifications:

Experience: 

Must have experience demonstrating the ability to develop, implement and administer talent management and development programs.

Experience of delivering, facilitating, or leading leadership learning and organization development programs or courses is required including in person and technology enabled programs, ideally for small and large group environments is required.

Experience working with multiple processes and serving multiple customers is required.

Experience in a health care setting is preferred

Must have demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of management and staff to achieve desired outcome results as well as to manage projects and initiate/ implement/ administer diverse programs. 

Knowledge:

Must have the ability to train.  A large majority of training will be executed virtually.

Must have a Medical Assistant background (proven history of medical office experience and/or specific medical assistant training experience).


Required Skills:

Must have the skills to effectively lead change and transition. Requires strong collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information between various areas of functional expertise within the system and the affiliates. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage/recommend through functional (vs. line) leadership and personal influence to achieve a positive effect. Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships in an extremely fast paced and demanding work environment. Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability to develop creative solutions. Must have demonstrated organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects within given timelines.
