EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited surgical technologists' program or extensive experience as a surgical technologist, such as is usually obtained in approximately 10 years.
LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS
CST-Certified Surgical Technician preferred.
Basic Life Support Certifications - Healthcare Provider - BLS-HCP
EXPERIENCE
Acute care experience preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication and basic computer proficiency skills.
Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in an ever-changing environment and respond appropriately to complex situations.
Pay Range: $39.68-$46.24
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
