Principal Accountabilities
Completes department forms for operations, maintenance and emergency response activity to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as DSH, TJC (The Joint Commission), Local and State Fire Marshal.
Interprets basic blueprint information and refers to technical manuals and other documentation to perform basic troubleshooting and basic repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to include but not limited to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, boiler and steam systems, normal and emergency power distribution equipment, mechanical systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, nurse call, fire protection and detection systems, security systems and other equipment and systems.
Performs basic operational duties on mechanical and electrical systems including but not limited to heating,
ventilation, and air conditioning systems, boiler and steam systems, normal and emergency power distribution equipment, mechanical systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, nurse call, fire protection and detection systems, security systems and other equipment and systems. Continuously checks for integrity of systems and equipment, initiating repairs as needed.
Responds to and assists with basic emergency condition response and recovery operations on mechanical and electrical systems to include but not limited to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, boiler and steam systems, normal and emergency power distribution equipment, mechanical systems, boilers, chillers, pumps,
generators, nurse call, fire protection and detection systems, security systems and other equipment and systems.
Schedules and completes basic preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to include but not limited to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, boiler and steam systems, normal and emergency power distribution equipment, mechanical systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, nurse call, fire protection and detection systems, security systems and other equipment and systems.
