Job ID SHP-2107226 Date Posted 02/28/2022 Location Sacramento, California Schedule/Shift Full Time/ DayThe National Committee on Quality Assurance/Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Sets and Quality (NCQA/HEDIS/Quality) Sr. Data Analyst designs, develops and implements complex analyses and reports to support SHP business partners, analytics and operational teams. This analyst is responsible data modeling, statistical and narrative analyses and comparative performance reporting. The analyst works closely with SHP Directors, Sutter Health (SH) analysts, project managers, and with end users to develop and present results in meaningful formats
The NCQA/HEDIS/Quality Sr. Data Analyst will work closely with the HEDIS Data Vendor and the HEDIS Auditor to review data output related to HEDIS measures and closing any gaps found during the Auditor's review. This position will also work collaboratively with the NCQA/HEDIS team to gather needed documentation, reports and materials and to upload HEDIS analytical data documents to NCQA using the Interactive Survey System tool (ISS). This analyst position will monitor and report annual changes in HEDIS measures through timely review and analysis of each annual release of measures.

Qualifications:
Education
3-5 years HEDIS specific knowledge and experience preferred.
3-5 years Experience with statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, Minitab required.
3-5 years Experience working in a health plan environment preferred.
3-5 years Experience working with Healthcare Quality metrics required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mastery of healthcare data analytics
Proficient in gathering and documenting high level and detailed business and technical requirements
Strong time management skills, work ethic and customer service orientation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process skills
