The process is simple. Once you click “Lets Get Started”, you will fill out a form with your details. This includes your name, email, position, and location. You will then be given the option to either upload a video (requirements are listed) or you will be able to record the video. You will be given the prompt/question to record your answer within the provided time limit.

You can review your video and will be able to retake as many times as you want until you are satisfied with the recording. Once you have submitted your video, the talent marketer will be able to apply company branding and use the video.

Tip 2: Choose the right outfit
Just dress according to the job and imagine you would go there for an interview. You will definitely do everything right.

Tip 3: The perfect camera orientation
Stretch out your arm and keep the camera at eye level.  If you are submitting via  in a web browser, make sure that your notebook is on a firm, level surface. Adjust the camera so that you can see your complete face.

Tip 4: Optimum lighting conditions
It is best not to stand directly behind and not directly in front of the light source, but let the light come naturally from the side.


The recording only starts once you click the red recording button. You will receive a “3,2,1” countdown before the actual recording begins. You will then have only the specified time limit to complete your video. The video will automatically stop recording when the time limit is reached or if you click the record button again to stop the recording.


There is no dedicated practice area. However, you have an unlimited amount of attempts to record your video. However, once you decide to “retake” your recording, your previous attempt is overwritten.

The recording is only saved if you do not close the tab during your recording process. If you leave the browser, or tab, progress is not guaranteed to save. However, you can always use the link to restart the process as many times as needed.


Yes! You will be able to review and watch your video before submitting. If you are unhappy with the recording, simply select “Retake” and you will be able to re-record your video.

Yes, just select “Save Local Backup” after you record your video. The video will be downloaded when you submit the video. Your talent marketer will also be able to download the video and share with you after they apply any company branding.

Only the information that your company chooses to share will be visible.  For Sutter, this includes the name, position, and location. Your email is not an option to be shared with the video, it is only used to provide communication to you on the status of your recorded video. 🤗
