The recording only starts once you click the red recording button. You will receive a “3,2,1” countdown before the actual recording begins. You will then have only the specified time limit to complete your video. The video will automatically stop recording when the time limit is reached or if you click the record button again to stop the recording.
There is no dedicated practice area. However, you have an unlimited amount of attempts to record your video. However, once you decide to “retake” your recording, your previous attempt is overwritten.
The recording is only saved if you do not close the tab during your recording process. If you leave the browser, or tab, progress is not guaranteed to save. However, you can always use the link to restart the process as many times as needed.
Yes! You will be able to review and watch your video before submitting. If you are unhappy with the recording, simply select “Retake” and you will be able to re-record your video.
Yes, just select “Save Local Backup” after you record your video. The video will be downloaded when you submit the video. Your talent marketer will also be able to download the video and share with you after they apply any company branding.
Only the information that your company chooses to share will be visible. For Sutter, this includes the name, position, and location. Your email is not an option to be shared with the video, it is only used to provide communication to you on the status of your recorded video. 🤗

For the successful execution of your Video Request the full functionality of the camera and microphone is necessary. If you encounter any problems, simply perform the following checks:
Check 1: Check connection ✔️
If you are using an external camera and/or microphone, you should check the connection first. Check that all cables are plugged in and that your computer recognizes the device. Try different connection options, such as using a different USB port. To verify the functionality of your external device, you can also try it on another computer. It can also help to search for new drivers on the device's manufacturer's website and install the latest drivers on your computer.
Check 2: Camera or sound is used by another program 📹🔉
Sometimes it can happen that your camera is used in the background by another program. This must be prevented, because two programs cannot access the camera at the same time. To solve the problem, simply close the web page or program that is using the camera. To be on the safe side, you can also restart your browser or computer.
Check 3: Missing access rights 🔑
Your browser settings may deny our web app access to your microphone and camera. There are 2 ways to check this:
Browser settings:
Click on the button with the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of your browser.
Click on "Settings".
Scroll to the end of the settings and click on "Advanced". Search in the category "Security and Privacy" the "Content Settings". There you will find the share settings for your camera and microphone.
Search bar settings:
Click on the camera icon in the upper right corner of the search bar.
Allow the website to use the camera and your microphone.
