Position Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist II produces quality diagnostic radiographs.The incumbent processes images, prepares records for service performed, makes adjustments and minor repairs on equipment. The incumbent ensures effective communication/documentation. 


Qualifications:

Education:

  • HS Diploma required
  • Graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology required

Licensures and Certifications:

  • American Association Radiologic Technologists - AART required upon hire
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - CRT required upon hire
  • Basic Life Support Certification - HealthCare Provider - BLS-HCP required upon hire
  • Radiology Fluoroscopy - RHF preferred
  • Must be competent in two or more imaging modalities, such as Mammography, Computed Tomography, MRI, DEXA, and/or Sonography required

Experience:

  • 2 or more years of prior experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist required
  • Prior work experience in an acute care facility preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Must be knowledgeable of technical factors and radiographic views
