Position Overview:
Novato Community Hospital is a 47-bed acute-care hospital located approximately 30 miles north of San Francisco. It is a part of the Sutter Health network of doctors, not-for-profit hospitals and other health care service providers sharing resources and expertise to advance health care quality and access in the more than 100 Northern California cities and communities.
Under the direction of the CAO/CNE, the Assistant Nurse Manager oversees the day-to-day delivery of professional nursing care and helps ensure that nursing care provided is consistent with established nursing standards and that care is provided in a safe, appropriate and cost-effective manner.  The Assistant Nurse Manager assists the CAO/CNE in the supervision and development of staff; provides input to planning/monitoring of unit operations and staff competency assessments; assists in meeting budgetary goals and performs other administrative functions as required.

BSN preferred
Three years experience in ED or ICU nursing.  Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Demonstrates leadership potential
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
