Position Overview:

Mills Peninsula Hospital is currently seeking full and part-time Greeters.  The Greeter welcomes patients into the department, entering name on the appropriate registration log, copying Insurance cards, and ensuring that patients are registered in the order they entered into the department.  Also functions as a Patient Registration Representative, as needed, to cover for co-workers who are out of the department.


High School Diploma or GED is required.


Pleasant and helpful demeanor is required.
Ability to diffuse tough interactions is required.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful encounters is required.
Customer service focused (example: prev experience in retail, food service, security where customer service skills are acquired) is required. 
Qualified candidates must be reliable.

Knowledge of English language w/basic written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, problem solve and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain levels of inventory to assure availability.
Basic math skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail. Basic keyboarding and computer skills. 

Variable shifts needed.  Shifts are full and part time. Candidates will be matched to shift that fits best. Maximum hours per week is 40.  This position is possible temp to hire, no guarantee.  Coverage for the following shifts is needed: 6:00A - 2:30P, 2:00PM-10:30PM, 10:00PM - 6:30AM.
