This is a Journeyman Level position.Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings and equipment and other related work as required.
An employee in this position works with considerable independence, work being subject only to periodic spot checks. An employee must possess a thorough knowledge of a particular skill area including vessel boiler, or electrical, or air-conditioning refrigeration, or plumbing, or carpentry as well as a working knowledge of all other skill areas.

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
DL-Valid Drivers License Class C
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Three years journeyman level work experience or a combination of work experience and post high school education.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Employee must be able to read, write, and speak the English Language.
Through knowledge of the system, theory and procedures for repair and maintenance in one of the following areas: electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration, pressure vessel boiler, plumbing or carpentry
Considerable knowledge of electrical theory and procedures for repairing and maintaining the system.
Considerable knowledge of air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating control systems, including air balance and system calibration procedures for repair and maintenance.
Considerable knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and procedures for repair and maintenance.
Considerable knowledge of procedures, materials and tools used in commercial building remodels and cabinet construction.
Considerable knowledge of uniform electrical and building codes.
Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building and mechanical trades.
Through knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials used in the building trades.
Ability to inspect systems and buildings to detect existing or potential problems.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to analyze situations and develop an effective course of action.
Ability to lead and train other employees.
Ability to perform arithmetic calculations as required by the job.
Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.

Pay Range is $65.08 to $65.08 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
